Belaya Dacha and McDonald’s in Russia: 30 years of successful partnership.

01.01.2020

31 January will see McDonald’s celebrate an anniversary of its Russian operations: in 1990, 30 years ago to the day, the brand unveiled its first restaurant on Pushkinskaya Square in Moscow. That event changed the Russians’ concept of public diners forever.

Belaya Dacha was among the first local businesses to partner up with McDonald’s as a supplier of fresh cucumbers, tomatoes and iceberg lettuce. Its collaboration with McDonald’s gave Belaya Dacha a powerful boost and helped it implement international quality production standards and new technology. Like 30 years ago, Belaya Dacha is a leading purveyor to McDonald’s, supplying the chain’s Russian restaurants with fresh chopped salad greens, carrot and apple slices and—since the 2018 launch of the Lamb Weston Belaya Dacha potato processing plant in the Lipetsk Region—French fries.

Belaya Dacha extends its warmest greetings to McDonald’s, congratulating the brand on its 30th anniversary in Russia. Our wishes are for McDonald’s to further grow and thrive and for our mutually beneficial business to continue.
